EFT PSYCHOTHERAPIST IN TRAINING

More ease.
More room to live.

Through emotion-focused therapy, I support people who want to feel more at ease in their lives.

“Some patterns cannot be changed through thinking alone. They need to be felt, met with care and understood from within — at a pace that gives every part of you the time it needs to process the states you experience.”

MY APPROACH

What is emotion-focused therapy?

I offer therapeutic conversations grounded in emotion-focused therapy, also known as EFT.

EFT is based on the understanding that emotions can act as an inner compass, offering important information about our needs, boundaries, longings and relationships.

We therefore not only seek to understand what is happening but also explore how you experience it from within — in your body, in your feelings and in your relationship with yourself and others.

Sometimes emotions feel out of reach. At other times, they can feel overwhelming or stuck, or be tied to old wounds and self-criticism. You may also recognise patterns you did not consciously choose, but which developed through complicated experiences. These can take the form of recurring reactions, conflicts or emotional states.

In our conversations, the aim is not to remove or control your emotions, but to understand them in a new way.

As we explore together what feels difficult, you may begin to relate to yourself with more care and less struggle. This can allow something that has felt stuck to begin to shift.
